Ok, this one gets me, they r telling you about sites that offer coupons, some at a price. Now,do not forget some of your organics are from overseas, oh and some of these organic brands have been on FDA recall list. You can see for yourself by clicking on the link above.

These are sites that offer access to coupons immediately, but insome cases you need to register to get access. Once you register, you'll likely receive email newsletters, but those newsletters mighthave more money-saving offers in them. There are many other manufacturers that don’t have immediate coupons on their sites, but they send out coupons in newsletters if you sign up for them. I’ll leave them for another blog post.

Rita, thanks for the comments. We are an extremely active family. We eat very healthy although we are not fanatics about it. Your correct in your comments for the most part. I've never seen her with a coupon for a bunch of carrots. We make most everything from scratch. (My son loves boxed brownies) My daughter is a vegetable/fruit/nut nut. She loves it all. We live in Northern Michigan and are literally surrounded by orchards - cherries, apples, peaches, apricots, plums and more. Because of friends and family this is all free to us. During the season we stuff ourselves with all of this. We also spend an enormous amount of time canning, drying and freezing as much as we can. A lot of what Lynette gets for free we give away. Mostly the stuff we won't eat. She came home not too long ago with a free box of Hot Pockets! Nasty! I took those stupid things to work with me and the other guys thought I was great. Some carpenters eat anything! A lot more of what she gets is "beauty products". Shampoo, rinse, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, girl things, etc......... We have large plastic containers full of the stuff. We give a lot of this away but also save a lot for bartering. Our neighbors have chickens so we trade with them for fresh eggs once a week. We have not bought eggs in years. We also help a group in a mission in Ecuador with this sort of thing. When our Pastor travels there once a month he always has a suitcase stuffed with items that Lynette got free with coupons. We have shelves full of canned items that we don't normally eat a lot of but are prepared to eat if TSHTF. Cereal is an item that you can get for free a lot of the time. Last week I had to stop on my way home to get 12 boxes of Kellogg's cereal. Some we eat some we trade with. Anyway I walked out of the store with 12 BOXES OF CEREAL FOR SEVENTY THREE CENTS!!! All of it not per box!!! That stuff can run up to $5.00 a box. I could go on and on and on with stories but I've said enough. Our purpose with coupons is not to eat perfect although for most of America I'd say we do great. We do save money using coupons - hundreds of dollars a year, maybe more. A lot of good people are blessed because of Lynette's coupons. (Besides, she gets me potato chips for free and I Love potato chips!!!!)

To Bill. How much of your food bought by coupons is fresh food. I have found that there are very few coupons for the food we should be eating for good health. I have never seen a coupon for fresh produce. Anything preserved, filled with sugar, salt and refined grains are unhealthy if that is your only food. Our bodies rely on fresh foods to provide the necessary nutrients for health. Also the more of these products you eat the more water you should consume. All of these processed foods dehydrate you. You may be saving money at the moment with the coupons, but you will be spending more later by paying it into the health industry. The effects of this kind of diet is worse on our children.

My wife is a fanatic coupon user. It is AMAZING what she comes home with and how little she spends. She's come home with a bag of groceries many times and says "they paid me $10.00 to buy all of this". She works at it and it pays off every time she goes shopping. We eat great and she only spends $40.00 to $50.00 per week. Family of four.
